Some corrections to my previous review. After some discussion a replacement battery was provided and done ethically. A bit of confusion on both sides happily resolved. However, a couple of small adjustments to the specifications are needed. The max speed is 15 km/hr not 20 km/hr. Also, the range of 30 to 35 kms on a 10.4 Amp battery is exaggerated with about half that range being closer to the truth. In all, after getting to the truth, service was prompt and I do love the overall performance of the skate.

VERY UNETHICAL BUSINESS!!
The skate arrived with no manual or paperwork at all. After using the skate once, 1 of the 4 battery cells failed. After 25 emails they promised me a new battery, gave a phony tracking number through Aramex, wanted me to return the faulty battery at my own expense and refused to send a replacement battery. I have gone to NSW Fair Trading to pursue the matter further.
I was looking for mobility on the golf course without substantial outlays for tow bar, trailer storage costs etc. The scooter was easy to ride and more stable than I expected. The battery has more than enough power to play 18 holes. Scooter folds easily for transport but at 76, I'm not able to lift it into the rear of our medium SUV and so invested in some ramps (folded in 3 sections) which help me load/unload it and store in the car during transport. All in all I'm very happy with my purchase.
